The Consortium of National Law Universities has released an official notification for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes through Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2027. All eligible Indian Nationals can apply online at CLAT official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in from 03rd August 2026 to till the application last date 31st October 2026 for Common Law Admission Test CLAT 2027.
✍️ Editor's Note
While the application window for CLAT 2027 is quite generous, I strongly recommend that candidates complete their registration by mid-October rather than waiting for the final deadline on October 31st. Technical glitches on the portal are common during the last few days of high-traffic recruitment and entrance exams. Additionally, ensure your category certificates (SC/ST/PwD) are updated and readily available, as you will need the correct documentation to claim the fee concession of Rs. 500.

CLAT 2027 Eligibility Criteria
UG Programme (Five Year Integrated Law Degree) :
Candidates who have passed in 10+2 or an equivalent examination with a minimum of:
Forty Five percent (45%) of marks or its equivalent grade or
Forty percent (40%) of marks or equivalent in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PwD categories.
Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination in March / April, 2026, are also eligible to apply.
PG Programme (One Year LL.M. Degree) :
An LL.B. Degree or an equivalent examination with a minimum of:
Fifty percent (50%) of marks or its equivalent grade or
Forty five percent (45%) of marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PwD categories.
Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in April / May, 2026, are also eligible to apply.
