State Bank of India (SBI) has released an official notification for selection to the post of Circle Based Officer (CBO) for 2,273 vacancies for recruitment Advertisement No. CRPD/ CBO/ 2025-26/18 in the starting back pay Rs.48,480/-. All eligible Indian citizens can submit application form at SBI career portal sbi.bank.in/web/careers from 29th January 2026 to till the closing date 18th February 2026 for CBO recruitment examination 2026.

Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government including Integrated Dual Degree (IDD).
Candidates possessing qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant would also be eligible.
Age Limit: (As on 31.12.2025): Not below 21 years and Not above 30 years as on 31.12.2025 i.e. candidates must have been born not later than 31.12.2004 and not earlier than 01.01.1996 (both days inclusive).

Presently, the starting basic pay is Rs.48,480/- in the scale of 48480-2000/ 7-62480-2340/ 2-67160- 2680/ 7-85920 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I plus 2 advance increments. The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, PF, Contributory Pension Fund i.e., NPS, LFC, Medical Facility etc. and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.
